Buying MTN airtime or data just got more rewarding. From 04 May to 30 June 2026, Flash and MTN are giving customers the chance to win R10 000 in shopping vouchers just by buying MTN airtime or data at any Flash shop.
Simply buy R10 or more MTN airtime or data, WhatsApp the number printed on your till slip (083 247 7803), and follow the prompts to enter. With 100 winners to be chosen during the campaign, you could walk away with R10 000 to spend your way - whether that means stocking up on everyday essentials at PEP or treating yourself to the latest fashion at Ackermans. Flash makes topping up with MTN easy, and now your everyday recharge could turn into something even bigger.
1. The MTN National Airtime Campaign – 2026 (“the Competition”) will run from 00h01 on 4 May 2026 to 23h59 on 30 June 2026 (“the Competition Period”).
2. The Competition is open to all participants within South Africa who can provide valid proof of identification, excluding directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Flash, MTN, and their associated companies.
3. No Flash employee may participate in or win this Competition.
4. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. To enter the Competition, participants must, during the Competition Period (“the Entry Criteria”):
5.1 Purchase R10.00 or more MTN airtime and/or data from any participating Flash merchant;
5.2 Save the WhatsApp number 083 247 7803 from the MTN airtime/data slip;
5.3 WhatsApp the saved number with the reference number appearing on the MTN airtime/data slip and follow the prompts.
6. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish, provided that each entry meets the Entry Criteria. Each qualifying MTN airtime/data purchase constitutes one valid entry
7. There will be 100 (one hundred) winners in total.
8. Winners will be selected by Flash by way of random electronic draw(s) from all valid entries received.
9. The draw dates will be conducted as follows:
- 15 May 2026 – 25 winners
- 29 May 2026 – 25 winners
- 12 June 2026 – 25 winners
- 01 July 2026 – 25 winners
10. Each winner will receive one (1) PEP or Ackerman’s voucher to the value of R10,000.00 (ten thousand rand), at the winners election. Winners may only use the voucher at the elected retailer and such voucher is not transferable nor splitable between PEP or Ackermans.
11. The total prize value for the Competition is R1,000,000.00 (one million rand).
12. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
13. Flash will notify winners via WhatsApp to the mobile number used to enter the Competition, and the voucher PIN will be sent to the winner via WhatsApp.
14. Flash may require winners to provide proof of identity and/or any additional information reasonably required to validate the entry before awarding the prize.
15. If a winner cannot be successfully contacted or fails to comply with these terms and conditions, an alternative winner may be drawn.
16. Flash and its agents shall not be responsible for any technical failures, network issues, system delays, incorrect entries, or lost communications that may affect participation in the Competition.
17. Flash and its agents do not accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or expense incurred as a result of participation in the Competition or acceptance or use of the prize.
18. The winners consent to Flash and its authorised agents using their names for publicity purposes, unless expressly refused in writing.
19. Flash reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone, or terminate the Competition or any aspect thereof, for any reason whatsoever and without notice, subject to applicable law. In such event, participants waive any rights or claims they may have against Flash.
20. By participating in the Competition, participants consent to:
(i) the processing of their personal information by Flash, MTN, and their operators, agents, and subcontractors (which may be located outside South Africa), subject to appropriate safeguards;
(ii) the collection of personal information from third-party sources to verify Competition entries;
(iii) the retention of personal information for as long as permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, and marketing purposes;
(iv) the use of personal information to communicate information relating to products, services, and promotions that may be of interest, unless opted out
(v) Participants may opt out of direct marketing at any time by notifying Flash in writing or by registering a block on any recognised opt-out registry. Flash will implement such requests as soon as reasonably practicable and at no cost.
vi) The Competition and prizes are subject to these terms and conditions and South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.
